IWPCs are proud to be a member of the Isle of Wight Trading Standards 'Buy With Confidence' scheme.
What does this mean?
- IWPCs have been audited by the Isle of Wight Trading Standards Service. This audit included:
- A criminal record check
- Credit checks
- An interview with Trading Standards officers
- Replies from questionnaires sent out to a selection of previous and existing customers
- Isle of Wight PCs agree to:
- Provide a reliable, quality service
- Comply with the spirit and letter of the law
- Ensure staff are adequately trained for the work carried out
- Deal with any complaints promptly, effectively and courteously
- Keep records of any complaints
- Acknowledge and respond to any advice given by the Trading Standards Service
- Agree to abide by the decision of Trading Standards in the unlikely event of a dispute
